All trickles are still in the project folder, as is the final sample.
I've zipped them somewhere else, and I have to go to work now, so I can't do anything in the next 8h, but can you give me some advice what to do when I come home?

Close manager and reopen it, should be ok after that.
Server IP address changed when we move to new server.

That worked, but I had to decide either to ditch 9h of a RNA-XXL-WU, or to wait another 130h until it proclaimed to be ready.

Why is it, that BOINC doesn't get IP changes right?

Yes, Boinc Manager not always refresh IP address.

I've asked at the BOINC_dev mailing list about it, let's see, if someone can say something bout it.

Could you tell me which host# is affected by this problem ? I see that you have 3 hosts attached.

Have you tried accessing the Rad@Home website from one of these hosts ?
Do they attach to project without errors (like fetching schedulers list every couple minutes etc) ?

both PCs have Internet access with explorer Firefox and all other Projekts at the PCs are running well. Only Radioactive have this probem: no contact to the server.

both have no access to the project with this message:
28.08.2012 22:41:08 | Radioactive@Home | Sending scheduler request: To send trickle-up message.
28.08.2012 22:41:08 | Radioactive@Home | Reporting 1 completed tasks, requesting new tasks for CPU
28.08.2012 22:46:17 | Radioactive@Home | Scheduler request failed: Timeout was reached
28.08.2012 22:46:31 | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
28.08.2012 22:46:33 | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

between are other project messages; hope this will help

FWIW, I've seen BOINC clients do this many times. They just seem to decide not to connect with one specific project. I usually just do a 'repair' install and the problem goes away (until the next time). At least I don't lose any crunched results.

Difficult to be specific as your hosts are hidden :(

Cheers,

Al.

Message 1340 - Posted: 29 Aug 2012 | 19:11:21 UTC

Thanks for the Tip,

i tried it without sucess.

But i remebered that i installed F-Secure 2012 at both PC approx 1 month ago.
On 1 PC i de-installed FS and now the second WUs has started with the old Boinc.

So i guess i have found my problem.

Many thanks to all for the help.

Greetings.

Perhaps that's because the app version changed yesterday, so of course the executable were changed.

with Help from F-Secure Support i found that the Project is blockt due to the Web-Page Filter. At the moment i have swiched off.

please can you tell me what pages the project are using to add them to the allowed list of the FS2012 Filter.

Our project use only it's dedicated server for all tasks.
So it's need only to unlock 91.205.74.27 IP address.
