Would it really help this project if i was to order a sensor the next time it's possible to do so ?
What i mean is that i live in Montréal, i would be the first user from this region with an active sensor, but like Dagorath said in another thread, we dont have many reactors in Canada, although there'is a few near Montréal, if my informations are correct, they aren't used anymore.

There's a list of them on Wikipedia : english, french.

Oh! If i look at the map found on the french page, there's a lot more reactors just south of my location.
So, it seems my interest in this project is justified.

Can i ask more infos about the next batch of sensors ? Like about when do you think i'll be able to send the money ? I have no problem sending it in advance, but it seems from what i read that you want people to wait until you say that you are ready for the next batch.
How much time do you think it could take to be delivered to Canada ? Will there be any problem with the "customs" ? Is this the proper word ? What i mean is that if they scan the parcel and think it's a suspicious thing....
LOL !

I've ordered small electronical devices from Hong Kong a few times and there wasn't any problem. I'll assume there wont be any.

Anyways, i think it will be kind of cool to see if there's any radiation around my location.
Thanks in advance for any advice, see ya all.

Also located in Canada. Can anyone comment on the success of having it shipped in to Canada? Any issues?

I had 2 detectors shipped to me: one from Poland the other from the US. The one from Poland took a long time but that's the way international parcels sometimes are. The one from the US took 5 days which is normal for USPS surface from the US. Both packages appeared to have been opened for inspection by customs but in the end they were forwarded to me.

Soon after their arrival the helicopters started circling at night with spotlights trained on my home but they haven't actually landed yet. And there is a black van with a parabolic antenna pointed at my home parked across the street 24/7/365. Every once in a while a window rolls down and the occupants toss out an empty Pizza 73 or a KFC box full of bones and Tim Horton coffee cups (just kidding)

I had a small PCB manufacturing setup in my garage which was destroyed by fire about 2 years ago. I'm rebuilding it, parts and supplies due to arrive soon. I'll be making a few detectors. Let me know if you're interested, I'll send you one for free on the condition that if you like it and use it for more than 30 days you pay me for it. It'll be about the same price as the detector the project sells though shipping will be less. The first batch I make will be an exact copy of the project's detector except I'll add a switch so you can turn that annoying buzzer off.
